WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT
(updated 8-13-2007)
Construction of the new treatment plant is continuing at a rapid pace and completion is currently scheduled for early November 2007. The main treatment tanks are complete and are ready for installation of mechanical equipment. The main processing, pump house, and disinfection buildings are “vertical” and floor slabs will be installed by August 15th. With a couple minor exceptions all major mechanical equipment is on site and ready for installation. The plant manager Randy Lynch, is attending training at a similar facility from August 6th thru August 17, 2007 and should return “ready to go.” On an overall basis, construction has gone well and with a minimum of change orders; two change orders totaling less than 1 percent of the project cost have been issued!
